Company formation in Serbia for foreign founders

We form your company in Serbia: a d.o.o. (a limited liability company) or the branch office of your foreign company. We prepare the documents and file the registration at APR, the Serbian Business Registers Agency. Then we set up what the company needs to operate, up to the bank account. Company formation is part of our Start tier. The APR registration fee is 8,000 RSD.

What we handle

We start with your plan, and we finish when the company can operate.

How it works

  1. Review.

You describe the planned business, the owners, the managers and the team. We name the form, the documents and the steps that work remotely.

  2. Documents.

We prepare the founding act and the registration documents. We tell you which foreign documents need a notary, an apostille and a certified translation.

  3. Registration.

We file the registration at APR. APR checks the seat address against the address register of the Republic Geodetic Authority.

  4. After the registration.

We enter the beneficial owners, register the company email address and register the company for e-government services.

  5. Bank account.

We support you with the opening of the bank account.

  6. Handover.

You get the handover list of the first obligations and deadlines.

Questions and answers

Can a foreign company or individual establish a company in Serbia?

Yes. Foreign individuals and foreign legal entities can found and own a company in Serbia, subject to the rules of their sector. A foreign company can also register a branch office in Serbia. We form either one and set up what it needs to operate.

Do we need to travel to Serbia to establish the business?

We review your planned setup first, and we tell you which steps work remotely and which steps need you in Serbia. The answer depends on the documents of the founders and on the bank that opens the account.

Should we open a d.o.o. or a branch office?

Both forms register at APR, and the APR fee is 8,000 RSD for each. Our guide Branch office or d.o.o. compares the two forms.

What does company formation cost?
